Entries are now open for the Urban Max in Sydney for 2018!
One of the most popular and unique events on the calendar the Urban Max will have teams of 2 completing checkpoints around a series of locations right in the heart of the city. Sounds easy enough right? Well as an added twist the locations are only revealed to the teams via cryptic clues that they have to solve!
Teams also have to factor in how they will travel between checkpoints, sure you can jog or walk between them but teams can also use public transport (no taxis!) to save time and effort as well. The winners are not necessarily the fastest team, but the team that has the best strategy and team work on the day.
Last year checkpoints included a karaoke bus, SUP, mini golf, kayaking and egg catapult creation; that was just the beginning! What will 2018 have in store? Well that is a secret too! All the checkpoints are designed for all levels of fitness and will be a combination of physical and mental challenges.
The Urban Max really is like a mega episode of the Amazing Race all crammed into one day! Choose a ‘Social’ team or ‘Racing’ team category.
