Max Adventure Race Series
Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th February, 2022
Lake Macquarie, NSW

The first event in the 2022 Max Adventure Race Series kicks off soon with both a Classic and a Novice course on offer on both Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th February 2022.

Sponsored by Lake Macquarie City Council, this year the course heads back to the ocean side and is shaping up to be some of the most fun you’ll have, all only a few hours north of Sydney at Cams Wharf!

The racing will be tight in the Classic course with numerous twisty, narrow trails to keep you on your toes with the navigation. Then the Classic course teams will be asking themselves “Am I brave enough to take on Shark Hole?” during the coasteering leg right alongside the mighty Pacific Ocean. Don’t stress about the kayaking either, the flat, calm waters of Lake Macquarie are perfect for the kayak leg and to cool off in post-event!

Not ready for the longer Classic course yet? The shorter and less technical Novice course option (with an easier navigation component) is still available for teams new to the sport and looking to give a race a try.

Kayaks are provided for all courses and bike hire is available.

With race day fast approaching now is the time to enter. You’ll save yourself some cash by entering before the price rise in January. Enter by 12th January 2022 and you will save yourself $20 per team!

So there’s no reason not to grab a mate and get yourself ready for an action packed adventure!
