Bouddi Coastal Run

Saturday 26th February, 2022
Killcare, NSW

We recently announced that the Bouddi Coastal Run will now take place on Saturday 26th February, 2022. While disappointed that we have had to make this decision the good news is that you have more time to enter!

It also means there is plenty more time to train for the 14km or 21km courses so you can hit the ground running come late February. While you are at it why not make plans for a much overdue weekend away – the beautiful Central Coast region will be welcoming you with open arms.

This event definitely deserves a top spot on your summer to-do list. Held within Bouddi National Park, only 1.5 hours North of Sydney, on the NSW Central Coast. Stunning coastal views with a variety of terrain including smooth trails, cliff tops and hills, sandy expanses, and rocky landscapes — the perfect way to experience the outdoors.

Don’t forget there’s also a 1km Kids Beach Run as well; perfect for the kids to get a taste of what all the fuss is all and surround themselves with other runners.

This year we’ve partnered once again with Camp Quality, who gives kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again. Camp Quality provides kids and their families with fun experiences, trusted information, coping tools and a supportive community; in-hospital, online, at school and away from it all on camps and at our retreats.

Set yourself a summer training goal and…

Max Adventure Race Series
Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th February, 2022
Lake Macquarie, NSW

Entries are now open for the Max Adventure Race at Lake Macquarie, NSW sponsored by Lake Macquarie City Council, on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th, February, 2022.

Short, fast, fun and suitable for anyone with a sense of adventure, the Max Adventure Races are designed to offer the perfect introduction to the exhilarating sport of adventure racing.

After exploring the area south of Cams Wharf in 2021, the 2022 version of the event promises a very different experience, focusing the action towards the mighty Pacific Ocean. This means teams will get to experience one of the ‘fan favourite’ sections of the area; the coasteering section. Coasteering is travelling along (and sometimes through) the rock platforms, inlets and tidal pools right next to the crashing waves. This section will really add to the excitement level for all teams and see them asking themselves…’Am I brave enough to take on Shark Hole?’

In addition to the coasteering section, teams will have a number of mountain biking and trail running legs to complete with a scattering of ‘bonus’ checkpoints on offer for those faster teams. Don’t worry if you have limited experience kayaking, as this will take place on Lake Macquarie whose calm waters makes it perfect for all skill levels.

Speaking of skill levels, if you’re unsure if you’re up to the full ‘Classic’ course, a ‘Novice’ course is offered as well with less distance to travel and less tricky navigation.

The event is perfect for anyone looking for a new and exciting challenge to start 2022.

So grab a team mate, enter via the button below and get ready for an unreal weekend adventure!
