Race 3: The Coastal Classic

Saturday 5th September 2015, Royal National Park, NSW

The Coastal Classic is the jewel in the Triple Trail Challenge crown and one of the most popular trail running events on the calendar each year. This famous event is a fitting location as the final leg and for the presentation of the coveted Triple Trail Challenge commemorative shirts.

Starting from Otford just north of Wollongong this 29km race runs alongside the coast to finish at picturesque Bundeena on the shores of Port Hacking. Along the 29km route the competitors will rarely be more than a stone’s throw from the mighty Pacific Ocean and with long stretches along cliff tops, over rocky headlands and past unspoiled beaches this is truly a race that will take your breath away.

The Coastal Classic has proven itself as an enduring favourite for trail runners over the events lifetime and sells out quickly as a result. Entries open at 9am sharp on the 20th April, make a note in your diary so you don’t miss out on an entry!

Tough Bloke Challenge – Appin, NSW
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June 2015

We make a fuss about the winners at the pointy end of the Tough Bloke Challenge who muscle their way through the 25 obstacles risking life and limb for line honours and the added bonus of taking home the trophy but are they really the toughest out there on the day?

Those Tough Blokes and Tough Chicks are super fit, muscles bulging and wearing nothing but skin tight compression gear, but hey spare a thought for those that drag that extra few kilos of mud around the 8km course by wearing a FANCY DRESS costume!! We have had some great outfits in the past…a variety of superheroes, an nutty professor and even some unmasked Predator’s turned up one year!! Come & Try Rogaining in QLD

There are a number of great rogaining events coming up in 2015.

Rogaining is the sport of long distance cross-country navigation in which teams of 2 to 5 people visit as many checkpoints as they can in a set time period. This sport is perfect for people of all ages and fitness levels because you choose your own course and can finish when you want.
