The Last Hurrah!

Go Natural Multisport
Saturday 15th August 2015
Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park, NSW

With only two weeks to go, the 2015 edition of the Go Natural Multisport is fast approaching. We thought it an opportune time to announce that the 2015 race will be the swan song for one of Sydney’s longest running multisport events. Conceived back in 2005, the Go Natural Multisport was one of the first events in the Max Adventure portfolio and has seen thousands of multisport athletes tackle the pristine course from Akuna Bay to Bobbin Head in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

If you have always wanted to tackle this iconic event but never had the chance this is it! No more stalling is possible! Entries are open up until a few days before the event so now is the time to enter. You can tackle the course solo, in pairs or as a relay entrant where each participant does a seperate leg (ride, kayak or run) so there is a option for everyone.

Racing or Social?

Paddy Pallin Urban
Saturday 7th November 2015
Sydney CBD, NSW

Still trying to decide which category to enter within the new format? We’ve broken down the categories for you!

Social: With 4 hours to collect as many points as possible, the social category is for those teams that are not wanting to race for line honours and would like to spend the day traipsing through the CBD. The social category is perfect for those who would like to bring their kids along.

Racing: Notoriously this has been the most competitive category, with teams looking for any advantage they can to get themselves a podium finish. Racing teams will have 6 hours to collect as many points as possible before heading back to HQ.

Once you have registered for the Urban don’t forget to set up your fundraising page. Cancer Council NSW is offering some sweet incentives for those who fundraise. You can set up a fundraising page by clicking here. Cancer Council NSW believes that we can and will beat cancer.

Chilly Dwellingup doesn't dampen spirits

Great Adventure Challenge
Saturday 25th July 2015
Dwellingup, WA

The hilly terrain of Dwellingup provided the perfect backdrop for the first Great Adventure Challenge event of the year, as 16 teams raced across the West Australian bush.

The chilly start from the picturesque Nanga Mill Camp was soon forgotten as teams completed their first team challenge before embarking on a run leg into the hills and through the morning mist.

Recent rains had created large puddles across a number of tracks and claimed a few competitors on the bike legs; while the kayakers enjoyed two scenic paddle legs along the beautiful Murray River.

Competition was fierce and less than 30 minutes separated the top four teams. First-time entrant Sedgman surprised all by beating KPMG 1 over the line for the overall Championship.

A mammoth fundraising effort by the two Western Areas teams allowed them to secure Champion Fundraiser honours for their $35,600 combined total.

The event raised more than $134,600 for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, a record for the WA event.
