Looking for a family friendly event offering beautiful trails and city views close to the CBD? Then look no further than the brand new Western Sydney Parklands Trail Run!

This event is proudly supported by Western Sydney Parklands, Sydney’s Biggest Backyard and provides the perfect backdrop for a weekend of running and activities for the whole family.

Starting and finishing at the Lizard Log, the trail snakes through the Parklands taking in Moonrise Lookout, with its views of Western Sydney and the Sydney City skyline. The terrain is varied – bushland single track, fire trail and farmland trails, all feature to challenge and excite the most discerning of trail runners.

Runners have the option of four course distances with a 4km Family Run or an 11km, 19km or 35km run, accommodating runners and walkers of all abilities. There’s even a 1.6km Kids Dash for the young ones!

Max Adventure Race Series

The Maximum Adventure Race is a series of events comprising four core disciplines; mountain biking, trail running/trekking, flat water kayaking (boats provided) and navigation across a variety of different and challenging terrains.

Created for teams of two, the races are fast, furious and ultimately a whole lot of fun. The next NSW event will be hosted by the Royal National Park, an hour South of Sydney and the most popular of the series.

With the Classic course, which takes between three to six hours to complete, and the Novice course, for newcomers to the sport and half the length of the Classic, there is no excuse not to find yourself a team mate and join in the fun.
