Maximum Adventure Race Series

Saturday 13th February, 2021

Lake Macquarie, NSW

Keen to get that adventure racing feel again? Or ready to finally put all that ISO training to good use at an actual outdoor event?

Now is the time to get fired up and excited to trail run, kayak and mountain bike with your mates, friends or family, this time by the lake. Entries are now open for Race #1 at Lake Macquarie, sponsored by Lake Macquarie City Council.

This course offers adventure racers the opportunity to not only kayak on the calm waters of Lake Macquarie but also has a plethora of route choices on the mountain bike legs, meaning you’ll get to explore even more of the region such as the stunning coastal side of the lake.

Located just over an hours drive north of Sydney, this event is easily accessible as a day trip for Sydneysiders. Alternatively, why not make a weekend of this epic adventure and stay overnight in Lake Macquarie to discover even more the day after the race? The diversity of Lake Mac makes it the perfect playground to explore, from sweeping arcs of golden coasts to the rolling green mountain forest, explore the incredible range of natural environments.

Entries for this event are normally snapped up pretty quickly pre-Christmas, so now is the time to get your team sorted and signed up.

Three Bridges Run Event Wrap

Sunday 1st November, 2020

Parramatta, NSW

The third edition of the Three Bridges Run and our first running event of 2020 went off without a hitch.

The wild weather in the lead up to the event stayed away for the most part and the runners were in high spirits with a sold out event speaking for itself. Some fast times were set across all distances and categories including 7 runners who smashed out a sub 3:00:00 marathon and 12 runners who flew by with a sub 1:30:00 half marathon. Congratulations! Full results and race photos are available if you missed them.

Many runners supported our Charity Partner, JDRF with online donations and fundraising while our event partners, Pure Running and Tailwind Nutrition Australia provided awesome prizes for age category winners as well as the all important on course nutrition.

Our very hard working volunteers also lent a huge hand and helped make this event happen, both out on course as a marshal, at the aid stations or at the event centre. If you’re keen to see what our events are about, volunteering is an excellent way to get involved. Check the relevant event website for details and to sign up!

Three Bridges Run will be back next year so mark your calendars for Sunday 31st October, 2021.
