Three Bridge Run

Entries are selling fast for the Three Bridge Run. Why not challenge yourself to blow off the winter cobwebs and join them!

Back for its third year, the Three Bridges Run is popular with families and athletes alike, with distances for all fitness levels.

The marathon distance is back on the race schedule with a flat, fast course, it’ll be the perfect opportunity to chase your next PB. The course completes two laps of the John Whitton Bridge, Bennelong Bridge and Silverwater Bridge loop.

The other courses include a half marathon, 9km and 5km race which meander along the Parramatta River, just 30 minutes west of Sydney CBD. Take in the sites of George Kendall Riverside Park, Rhodes Point, and Newington Nature Reserve, using the Parramatta Valley shared use path. View course maps HERE.

Event Wrap Up

Max Adventure Race
Saturday 16th July, 2022
Sunshine Coast, QLD

That’s a wrap on the first Queensland event in the 2022 Max Adventure Race Series, held on the trails around Wild Horse Mountain.

A strong field of Classic and Novice teams trail ran, mountain biked and kayaked, joined by a group of young adventure racers completing the Kids course. Flying along the trails on their mountain bikes, running along the numerous trails to find the next elusive checkpoint and paddling on Tibrogargan Creek. Some trails were a bit muddier than normal, but the blue skies and sunshine more than made up for this and many beaming bright smiles were seen as teams crossed the finish line. Congratulations to all teams that successfully completed the course, both Classic and Novice teams. There were plenty of incredibly fast times on display. Despite what could have been some tricky navigation the teams were on fire, nailing just about every checkpoint no sweat. And those that did cause a sweat were located in due time.

A big thank you to event sponsors Sunshine Coast Council, Fisiocrem and Salming. Our events couldn’t run without the support of our sponsors and the teams appreciated the prizes that were on offer for the podium place-getters. Also thanks go out to HQ Plantations, Landsborough Scouts and OMG Decadent Donuts for their support of the event. A special shout out also to our hard working volunteers who lent a hand and helped make this event happen.

Entries are open for the next Queensland adventure race in the series at The Gap near Brisbane on Saturday 11th March. The racing is always fast and furious at this venue and is one not to be missed.
